The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is expected to have 16GB of VRAM

nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti : 16GB of confirmed memory

New rumour about the next-generation NVIDIA 5070 Ti model.

After several weeks of silence, new information is emerging about the GeForce RTX 50 series. NVIDIA would have already provided preliminary data and samples to its partners, in preparation for mass production planned to meet demand starting next month.

The RTX 50 series, based on the Blackwell architecture, is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of 2025, with an official announcement confirmed for the CES 2025 event during Jensen Huang’s keynote.

The focus will likely be on the high-end models, such as the RTX 5090 and 5080, but rumours also mention the RTX 5070 Ti.

Rumoured specifications for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

  • GPU : GB203-300
  • CUDA cores : 8 960
  • Memory : 16GB GDDR7, 28Gbps, 256-bit bus
  • Memory bandwidth : 896 GB/s
  • TBP : 285W

The RTX 5070 Ti model would use the GB203-300 GPU with 8,960 CUDA cores, i.e. slightly behind the RTX 5080. Thanks to its 16GB of GDDR7 memory at 28Gbps and its 256-bit bus, it would reach a 896GB/s bandwidth—equivalent to that of the RTX 5080.

Launch and positioning

According to the latest information, the RTX 5070 Ti would be the third card in the RTX 50 lineup to be launched, potentially ahead of the non-Ti version of the RTX 5070.

The TBP of 285W still needs to be confirmed, as some sources may mix up power specifications (TDP, TBP, TGP).

These new details strengthen the idea that NVIDIA is aiming to deliver high performance while keeping a competitive position for this mid-to-high-end card.

Will the 16GB of VRAM be enough to make it a dedicated 4K card, or rather a high-end GPU for QHD?
