- Good news: EA FC 27 requires the same configuration as FC 26. A PC that runs FC 26 will run FC 27.

EA FC 27 launched on 25 September 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2. On PC, it includes modes reserved for the new generation, such as The Grounds, plus full graphics settings and unlocked FPS.
And it’s one of the most accessible games of the year: you don’t need a monster to play it. Here’s the EA FC 27 PC system requirements, performance measured on FC 26 (same requirements), and the PCs we recommend.

EA FC 27 system requirements on PC: minimum and recommended
To play EA FC 27 on PC, you need at least a GTX 1050 Ti or an RX 570, a Core i5-6600K or a Ryzen 5 1600, and 8 GB of RAM. EA recommends a GTX 1660 or an RX 5600 XT, a Core i7-6700 or a Ryzen 7 2700X, and 12 GB of RAM for 1080p at 60 FPS.

The required specs for EA FC 27 remain very reasonable: most recent gaming PCs far exceed them.
FC 27 PC or FC 26 PC: what’s changed?
No changes on the specs side: EA FC 27 takes the exact same PC requirements as EA FC 26. What changes are the settings:
- More ambitious presets: in FC 27, EA states that the High and Ultra presets target at least 80 and 120 FPS.
- Unlocked FPS: since FC 26, the limit can go up to 144, 165 or 240 FPS, ideal on a fast monitor.
- Full PC options: fullscreen, windowed or borderless, render scale, dynamic resolution and USB vibrations for the DualSense.
- Modes reserved for the new generation: the The Grounds mode in FC 27 is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, not on older consoles.
A 144 Hz screen or more: the best way to enjoy EA FC 27’s unlocked FPS on PC.
How many FPS in EA FC 27 with a recent graphics card?
The game is light: in FC 26, an RTX 3060 or an RX 6700 XT holds 60 FPS on native Ultra at 1080p and at 1440p, according to GameGPU. A RTX 4070 reaches an average of 153 FPS at 1080p, according to PCGamesN.

Anti-cheat, Steam Deck and Linux: what you need to know
EA FC 27 uses EA Javelin anti-cheat, which works at the Windows kernel level. The game therefore does not run on Linux or Steam Deck.
- EA Account and EA app: required, even if you buy the game on Steam or Epic.
- Javelin anti-cheat: only active when the game is running, according to EA.
- Denuvo protection: present on the PC version.
- On a FlowUP PC: Windows 11 is preinstalled (trial version); the game installs like on any other PC.
On PC, EA FC 27 runs via the EA app and the anti-cheat Javelin, and only on Windows.
Which PC to play EA FC 27 on?
To play EA FC 27 in 1080p with high FPS, an RTX 5050 or an RTX 5060 is more than enough. For 1440p or streaming at the same time, go for an RTX 5070.

Can you play EA FC 27 on Steam Deck?
No. EA Javelin anti-cheat blocks Linux and SteamOS. You need a Windows PC.
Do you need an SSD for EA FC 27?
The minimum is enough with a 100 GB hard drive, but EA recommends an SSD. We recommend it to reduce loading times.
Which PC for FC 27 in 1440p?
