In brief: GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has pushed it back twice: from late 2025 to 26 May 2026 (May 2025 announcement), then to 19 November 2026 (November 2025 announcement). No PC version has been announced to date. If Rockstar follows its usual pattern, the PC release will come later: it took around 13 months for Red Dead Redemption 2 and about a year and a half for GTA V. So there are no official PC system requirements for GTA 6 yet.
When is GTA 6 released?
The official date is Thursday 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It’s the third date announced: Rockstar initially aimed for autumn 2025, then 26 May 2026, before pushing it back again to polish the game.
At the time of writing, end of September 2026, this date still stands. It was also confirmed in August 2026 that the game would run at 30 frames per second on consoles at launch.
GTA 6 first arrives on consoles on 19 November 2026; the PC will have to wait.

When does GTA 6 release on PC?
Rockstar has not announced any PC version. The previous two give an idea of the usual turnaround time:

If Rockstar repeats this pattern, a PC release in late 2027 or in 2028 would make sense. This is a FlowUP estimate based on these precedents, not an announcement: Rockstar could just as easily release it faster or slower.
What PC for GTA 6?
There are no official system requirements, and any “GTA 6 PC specs” you’ll see going around are just assumptions. What we can say is that GTA 6 targets 30 frames per second on PS5: it’s a very demanding game, and the PC version will probably be demanding too, with upscaling (DLSS, FSR) as support.
Our builder’s advice: don’t buy a PC “for GTA 6” today; buy a PC for the games you play now, with some headroom.
