Why the processor matters
Our builder’s take: Space Marine 2 puts hundreds of enemies on screen at the same time. These hordes put the processor under as much strain as the graphics card, which explains why the recommended configuration is fairly demanding on the CPU side, with a Ryzen 7 5800X or a Core i7-12700.
For comfortable play, go for a recent 6- or 8-core chip, ideally a Ryzen X3D, and enable DLSS or FSR at 1440p and 4K. For choosing the graphics card, follow our method to choose your graphics card in 2026.
