Previously, blurred-imagery testing methods were measured via MRPT. VESA-certified ClearMR technology replaces MRPT technology and blur is tested using a high-speed digital camera. For monitors that are sent and ClearMR certified via the VESA standard, you can be sure you will receive an accurate assessment of the monitor’s blur quality. Each certification is defined by a CMR range, with the highest level being VESA-certified ClearMR 9000. With its ClearMR 9000 certification, this monitor offers the highest image quality rating, and therefore the least overall blur.
SmartImage optimised game mode for players
Philips’ new special gaming screen offers a menu designed for players, with a range of options to suit your needs. The “FPS” mode (First-Person Shooter) enhances dark tones in games, helping you see hidden objects more clearly in dark areas. The “Racing” mode (Racing) improves response time, intensifies colours and adjusts the image. The “RTS” mode (Real-Time Strategy) benefits from a special SmartFrame mode that lets you highlight certain areas and adjust the size and image. Gamer 1 and 2 options (player 1 and 2) allow you to save customised settings for different games, for optimal performance.
