The TP-Link TL-PA8015P KIT carries the network over the electrical installation when running a long Ethernet cable is difficult. Each adapter includes a Gigabit port and a pass-through power socket. The 1300 Mbit/s correspond to the theoretical physical data rate of the Powerline link, not to a guaranteed Internet speed. Distance, electrical boards, interfering devices and the quality of the cabling can reduce the actual throughput significantly.
Plug each adapter directly into a wall socket.
Avoid multi-sockets, UPS units and surge protectors between the adapter and the wall.
Try different sockets if the throughput is low.
Use the built-in socket to draw power from the wall.
