Black Friday is always the day after Thanksgiving, celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday of November. In 2026, Thanksgiving is Thursday 26 November, so the Black Friday 2026 date is Friday 27 November.
In practice, many shops stretch the promotion across the whole week, sometimes starting as early as Monday 23. That’s when we talk about “Black Week”. Cyber Monday closes the run on the following Monday.

Black Friday 2026 date: France and Belgium
The Black Friday 2026 date is the same on both sides of the border. It’s not a sale period regulated by law, unlike winter and summer sales. Each brand sets its own dates and duration.
What is regulated, however, is how discounts must be displayed. In France, since May 2022, the crossed-out price must be the lowest price charged during the 30 days prior to the promotion (Article L112-1-1 of the Consumer Code). The same rule comes from a 2019 European directive, which is also applied in Belgium. Concretely, a brand can’t inflate its price at the start of November to show a big percentage on 27.

Black Friday 2026: when should you order your gaming PC?

Waiting until 27 November isn’t necessarily the best move in 2026. TrendForce expects another 10–15% rise in DRAM contract prices in Q4 2026, after a 13–18% increase in the previous quarter. A PC built with this memory has little reason to drop by then.
