In brief
- PowerLab is the commercial name of XTRA PC, a custom-built gaming and professional PC assembler based on Rue Montgallet in Paris, since 2010.
- On Trustpilot: 3.7/5 from 608 reviews (as of 13 October 2026).
- A small, specialised set-up, with a shop open from Tuesday to Saturday.
PowerLab, that’s who?
PowerLab is the sign/brand of XTRA PC, located on the street with the IT shops in Paris.
- Company: SAS with share capital of €45,800, RCS Paris 520 441 999, founded in February 2010.
- Head office & shop: 34 Rue Montgallet, Paris 12e, open Tuesday to Saturday.
- Size: between 6 and 9 employees according to Pappers.
PowerLab PCs can be configured on powerlab.fr, which describes itself as “a specialist in High-Tech and tailor-made configurations”. The site offers and states:
- a gaming PC configurator and a quote page;
- an “Assembled in France” assembly and a “within 48H” build;
- a “Warranty and Reliability” section announcing “minimum 2 years”;
- an “Verified Reviews” section, with no rating and no number of reviews displayed at the time of writing.
Information taken from their legal notices, their homepage and Pappers. FlowUP has no commercial link with PowerLab. PowerLab is a registered trademark of its owner.

Whether made to measure or from stock, every part is assembled by hand by FlowUP workshop technicians.
PowerLab review: what we take away
On “PowerLab reviews”, Google points to Trustpilot, Verified Reviews, a topic from the config-gamer.fr forum, a hands-on review from hardware.fr and a few aggregators.
- Trustpilot: 3.7 out of 5 for 608 reviews (13 October 2026).
- Profile: claimed since July 2025.
A reliable PowerLab review is based on what you can verify: more than fifteen years in operation, an address you can visit, and an openly stated speciality in tailor-made gaming and pro builds. We haven’t tested their builds and their service, so we won’t say anything about that.
If you’re here, it’s probably because a custom build is tempting you to buy a gaming PC. Choose every component, get a machine that looks like you, we get it. We build them too, and we have a pretty clear view on the question.
Custom gaming PC: when it really is worth it
Custom makes sense in these cases:
- A precise constraint: a white case, a quiet PC for a bedroom, a graphics card from a specific brand and model.
- A mixed use: video or 3D rendering during the day, gaming in the evening. The budget then shifts towards the processor and memory.
- The desire to understand what you’re buying, piece by piece.
Otherwise, a well-thought-out standard configuration does the same job for less money. The assembler buys components in bulk and has already validated how they work together. A configurator checks mechanical compatibility, but it won’t tell you that the processor bottlenecks the graphics card, that the power supply is cutting it close, or that the CPU cooler is too small for a Ryzen 9.
Our advice: start with a standard configuration close to your needs, and move to a custom build only for the part that truly matters to you. That’s how we build our catalogue.
At FlowUP, custom builds go through the same workshop
FlowUP is a Belgian brand, based in Genappe, born from the YouTube channel FrenchHardware. Mathis and Gauthier spent years testing configurations and taking apart machines, and our off-the-shelf PCs are what they would have wanted to find in a shop. Alongside that, our custom PC service lets you choose your components, and our technicians assemble them. More than 50,000 PCs have left the workshop.
Whether made to measure or from stock, every assembled gaming PC follows the same process:
- Assembly with well-known brands (MSI, ASUS, Corsair, Cooler Master, NZXT and PNY are among our partners) and clean cable management.
- Set-up: BIOS configured, Windows 11 and drivers installed.
- Complete stress test of the processor, graphics card, memory and temperatures. We only approve it after that.

The same process for every machine: assembly, BIOS setup, stress test, then approval.
Same warranty and same service for everyone:
- 2 years, parts and labour.
- After-sales support within 48 hours (phone, email or ticket), with a remote diagnosis whenever possible.
- UPS delivery in double packaging to France, Belgium and Switzerland.
One difference: the lead time. A standard PC ships in 5 to 7 working days, the time for assembly, stress testing and packaging, and we simply accept that we don’t ship within 24 hours. A custom build takes longer, because we have to source every individual part. We tell you that before you order.
Two FlowUP configurations showing how we work
Two standard machines, assembled as they are in October 2026, to see what we mean by balance. Prices follow the market; the product page is the reference.
Rubis V2 PC GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB
Ryzen 5 7500F, 16 GB DDR5, 1 TB SSD, 360 mm watercooling, 750 W Gold PSU, MSI Pano 110R panoramic case. A fast 1440p setup on the AM5 platform, with room to grow on the CPU side.
Apex V2 PC Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32 GB DDR5, 1 TB SSD, Cooler Master 850 W Gold PSU, ASUS TUF B850 motherboard. The duo the workshop prefers for ultra 1440p: the 7800X3D limits nothing, and the 16 GB of the RX 9070 XT handle 4K.
Our workshop take: for pure gaming, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an RX 9070 XT or an RTX 5070 Ti remains the best balance right now, and that’s often where a good configurator ultimately leads you.
- The whole range is on the page for assembled gaming PCs.
- This month’s discounts are on the gaming PCs on promotion.
- The configurator is waiting for you if there’s a part you care about.
What our customers say about it
More than 1,350 customers give us 5 stars on Trustpilot. Among them are customers who had their configuration changed (spelling corrected by us):
“We ordered a PC with modifications. Our requests were understood and we were guided through the changes to stay within budget.”
“I had asked for two power and SATA cables to be routed out so I could connect my two SSDs, and they were.”
And for a custom build worth €10,000, there’s Mister V’s PC, assembled by FrenchHardware:
The visit to Cowcotland, the Tech-Repair test, customer unboxings and the link to our 2,350 reviews (including critiques) are on the page FlowUP reviews.
Frequently asked questions about custom gaming PCs
Is a custom PC guaranteed like a standard PC?
At FlowUP, yes. The 2-year warranty for parts and labour applies to all machines assembled by our teams, including custom builds. After-sales service follows the same process: a ticket or a call, diagnosis, then repair or replacement.
How long does it take to receive a custom PC?
More than a standard PC. The 5 to 7 working days don’t apply to custom configurations, which depend on the arrival of each part and the assembly time. The lead time is given to you at the time of ordering.
Do I need to know my way around to order a custom PC?
Not necessarily. If a component makes you hesitate, start with a standard configuration that’s close to your use case and only change what matters to you. Our technicians check the consistency of the whole setup before assembly, not just compatibility.
