In brief
- Top Achat (topachat.com) sells IT hardware online since 1999.
- The site is operated by the LDLC Group, which took over its retail business in 2020.
- On Trustpilot: 4.2/5 from 13,886 reviews (as of 13 October 2026).
Top Achat, who are they?
Top Achat is made up of former players in online IT sales in France; the site footer even displays “© 1999-2026”.
- Company: public limited company (société anonyme) with capital of EUR 1,110,919.68, RCS Lyon 403 554 181, 2 rue des Érables, Limonest.
- Owner: these are the number and address of the LDLC Group, which finalised the acquisition of Top Achat’s retail business in April 2020, following negotiations announced in late 2019.
- Model: a pure player, with no own Top Achat shop, backed by the network of its parent group.
The site describes itself as a “specialist online sales site for computer equipment”. For a gamer, you’ll find:
- components, laptops and peripherals;
- pre-assembled Top Achat PCs, sold under the name “Les PC by TopAchat”;
- Configomatic, a configurator that checks component compatibility.
Information taken from their legal notices and their homepage. FlowUP has no commercial link with Top Achat. Top Achat is a registered trademark of its owner.

Custom-built or off-the-shelf, it’s the same team that builds, adjusts and tests every machine in the workshop.
Top Achat review: what you should take away
On “Top Achat reviews”, Google shows Trustpilot and Avis Vérifiés first, then a page of customer reviews published by Top Achat, Reddit threads, and a YouTube video where someone tests a PC worth €2,000.
- Trustpilot: 4.2 out of 5 for 13,886 reviews (13 October 2026).
- Profile: claimed since October 2018.
A reliable Top Achat review starts with what can be verified: an established brand, lots of reviews, and a listed group behind it, and an offer that goes from the component to the assembled PC. We don’t know their machines’ or service’s real quality; we haven’t tested them.
Often, behind “Top Achat gaming PC” (or “topachat” all stuck together), the real question is elsewhere: do I get a PC that’s already built, or do I choose my parts one by one? FlowUP does both, so here’s our take.
Pre-built PC or configurator, how to decide
- The configurator has real appeal: you pick everything and you understand everything. Its pitfall is that it checks whether the parts fit together, not whether they work well together. An entry-level Ryzen 5 with an RTX 5070 Ti can be assembled and boots, but it bottlenecks the card in quite a few games. A 550 W Bronze power supply with the same card passes the check, then cuts out at the first peak in power consumption.
- A pre-built PC that’s been well thought through arrives with a balance chosen by someone who has assembled hundreds. Its price includes work you don’t see on the invoice: cabling, the BIOS, drivers, and testing under load.
Our workshop rule:
- Can you read a spec sheet and do you have a specific constraint (white case, absolute silence, a specific graphics card brand at the front)? Go for custom-built.
- Otherwise, choose a balanced pre-built system, and save your energy for gaming.
At FlowUP, configurations designed around the graphics card
FlowUP is a Belgian brand based in Genappe, launched in the wake of the YouTube channel FrenchHardware, and the workshop has already shipped more than 50,000 PCs. Our product lines start from the graphics card: for each GPU, we choose the processor, memory and power supply that let it deliver everything it can, without making you pay for anything elsewhere. The catalogue runs from RTX 5050 to RTX 5090, with Radeon RX 9060 XT and 9070 XT in between, from Full HD up to 4K.
Every gaming PC we assemble is assembled, tested and validated before shipping:
- full stress test of the CPU, GPU, memory and temperatures;
- BIOS configured, Windows 11 installed with its drivers ;
- parts from well-known brands (MSI, ASUS, Corsair, Cooler Master, NZXT and PNY are among our partners).

Before shipping, every PC goes through a benchmark and a stress test to validate its performance.
More of a custom configurator? Our bespoke PC page lets you build your system piece by piece. Then:
- it’s our technicians who assemble, adjust and test it ;
- the same 2-year warranty on parts and labour, the same after-sales service within 48 hours, the same UPS delivery in double packaging ;
- Only the turnaround time changes: custom takes longer than a pre-built PC.
Two FlowUP configurations to compare the tiers
Two machines from the catalogue, assembled as-is in October 2026. Prices follow the component market; the product sheet is the reference.
Savannah GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB PC
Ryzen 7 5700X, 16GB DDR4, 1TB SSD, MSI B550 motherboard with Wi‑Fi 6E, 650 W power supply. The 1080p and 1440p tier we recommend most often when the budget is around €1,300.
Rubis V2 GeForce RTX 5070 12GB PC
Ryzen 5 7500F, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, 360 mm water cooling, 750 W Gold power supply, MSI Pano 110R panoramic case. High-frequency 1440p with DLSS 4 for the heaviest titles.
In between, we don’t hesitate:
- 1440p screen and big single-player games? The roughly €600 difference towards the Rubis V2 pays for itself over the life of the machine.
- For esports at 1080p, the Savannah is more than enough.
The rest of the range is on the built-and-configured gaming PC page, and the current discounts on gaming PCs in the promotion.
What our customers say
More than 1,350 customers give us 5 stars on Trustpilot. Ralph, for example, runs GTA V RP, World of Warcraft and Hogwarts Legacy on his Savannah RTX 5060 Ti. Dekaven, meanwhile, worked out the build piece by piece for his Rainbow V2 (reviews quoted with spelling corrected by us).
“The setup is more than enough for this kind of game!”
“When I compared it with components as close as possible, it came out the same. So I'd say the opposite: buying from FlowUP isn't expensive!”
And for custom builds taken to the next level, FrenchHardware made a fridge PC for Squeezie:
The visit to Cowcotland, the Tech-Repair test, and the link to our 2,350 reviews (including criticism) are on the page FlowUP reviews.
Frequently asked questions before buying a gaming PC
Is a pre-assembled PC more expensive than a PC you build yourself?
Piece by piece, sometimes a little. But its price includes the assembly, the configured BIOS, Windows installed, the under-load test, and above all one warranty for the entire machine. In the event of a breakdown, you don’t have to prove to five different sellers which part failed.
Can you upgrade a FlowUP gaming PC later?
Yes. Motherboards, cases and power supplies are standard models from well-known brands:
- you will be able to change the graphics card, add memory or an SSD without having to replace everything;
- on an AM5 base like the Rubis V2, the processor can also be replaced with a newer model.
What is the delivery time for a FlowUP gaming PC?
For a pre-built PC, allow 5 to 7 working days before dispatch by UPS. This time is used for assembly, the stress test and packaging, and we prefer it over 24-hour delivery. We deliver to France, Belgium and Switzerland, with express delivery in 24 hours when production allows it. Custom builds require a bit more time; the lead time is stated when you place the order.
