By the FlowUP team, gaming PC builder in Genappe (Belgium) · Updated 30 September 2026
In brief: Manor Lords doesn’t need a high-end PC. The recommended setup calls for a Core i5-7600 or a Ryzen 3 2200G, 12GB of RAM and a GTX 1060 6GB (or an RX 580, or an Arc A580). To play in good conditions in 2026, especially as your city grows, aim for a newer PC with 16GB of RAM, a 6-core processor and an RTX 5060 or an RX 9060 XT: that’s more than enough for 1080p. For 1440p, step it up with an RTX 5060 Ti or an RX 9060 XT 16GB.
Manor Lords in 2026: where does the game stand?
Released in early access on 26 April 2024, Manor Lords blends a city builder with tactical battles in a late-14th-century medieval Franconia. Its creator, Greg Styczeń, developed it almost single-handedly for years under the banner of his studio, Slavic Magic, with Hooded Horse at the publishing stage.
In September 2026, the game is still in early access and continues to evolve. The major update tested in the August 2026 beta adds a new map, Wide Valley, new productions (oats, cheese, beef, mead), seasonal livestock raising, and a tier of advanced buildings, including a large stone church.

What really matters for Manor Lords
Our builder’s take: Manor Lords is a bit of a special case. Early on, a modest PC is more than enough. It’s when your city grows, with hundreds of inhabitants, production chains and battles, that the load increases, and, as with most city builders, the processor is then just as involved as the graphics card.
Our tip: don’t sacrifice the processor to put everything into the graphics card. A recent 6-core CPU, such as a Ryzen 5 7500F or a 14th-gen Core i5, and at least 16GB of RAM, 32GB if you play while keeping other apps open. The choice between 16 and 32GB is detailed in 16GB or 32GB of RAM in 2026.

The bigger the city gets, the harder the processor works.
