Infomax review: who is this Parisian gaming PC seller?

Who is Infomax, what customers say about it, and how to buy a built gaming PC without making a mistake

By the FlowUP team, gaming PC builder in Genappe (Belgium) · Updated 15 October 2026

In brief

  • Infomax Paris is 3W Computer: a PC builder for gamers based on Rue Montgallet in Paris since 2013.
  • On Trustpilot: 3.9/5 for 1,881 reviews (as of 13 October 2026).
  • A physical shop at headquarters and an announced build lead time of 5 to 7 working days.

So, who is Infomax?

Infomax Paris is the trading name of 3W Computer. Anyone who has already searched for a RAM stick on a Saturday in Paris will recognise the address: Rue Montgallet has long been the part of the capital where computer shops were concentrated.

  • Company: SAS with capital of €68,000, established on 1 October 2013.
  • Head office and shop: 24 Rue Montgallet, 12th arrondissement, Paris.
  • Catalogue: Infomax PCs cover the assembled gamer PCs, custom-built systems and business PCs.

On their site, they describe themselves as “your partner for a gaming PC with the best value for money” and they announce:

  • a build that is “100% assembled in France”;
  • an average lead time of 5 to 7 working days, or a “Montage Rush” option in 48 hours;
  • payment in 24 instalments.

Wording taken exactly as-is from their home page. FlowUP has no commercial link with Infomax. Infomax is a registered trademark of its owner.

Infomax reviews: what the public numbers say

When you search for “Infomax reviews”, Google first points you to Trustpilot, then to Avis Vérifiés and a few Reddit threads.

  • Trustpilot: 3.9 out of 5, from 1,881 reviews (13 October 2026). Claimed profile by the company in June 2025.
  • Avis Vérifiés: the site displays a widget that mentions 4,420 verified reviews.

Is Infomax reliable? We’re not going to answer for them. A trustworthy Infomax review is built from what you can verify yourself: more than ten years in business, a real address and a trade focused on custom-built and assembled gaming PCs. We’ve never had their machines and after-sales service in our hands, so we’ll leave it at that.

Behind “Infomax gaming PC”, there’s often another question: who can you trust with €1,000 or €3,000 without getting taken for a ride? That’s something we can talk about, we build PCs all day long.

Before buying a built gaming PC: three checks

  • Do the parts work together? A big graphics card stuck to a processor that’s too modest, a power supply that cuts out mid-game, a case that breathes poorly: choosing the right parts takes as much time as assembling them.
  • Has the PC been run under load before it leaves? Wiring, BIOS (draait het RAM op zijn echte frequentie?), drivers, stress test: none of that is written on the product page, even though it’s exactly what determines whether the machine can hold up.
  • Do you get hold of the after-sales service? Call them before you buy. Two minutes on the phone will tell you more than the warranty page.

At FlowUP: assembled, tested and guaranteed for 2 years

FlowUP started in Genappe, Belgium, and from a YouTube chain, FrenchHardware. Mathis and Gauthier tell that on our About page: after taking apart machines in front of the camera for so long, they were fed up with seeing PCs sold too expensively, with no-name components and catastrophic cable management. More than 50,000 PCs have left the workshop since then.

Each machine follows the same path:

  • Assembly with brands we know (MSI, ASUS, Corsair, Cooler Master, NZXT, PNY) and neatly routed cables.
  • Settings: BIOS configured, Windows 11 and drivers installed.
  • Complete stress test of the processor, graphics card, memory and temperatures. Until it has passed, the PC doesn’t ship.

And if a part fails?

  • 2-year warranty, parts and labour.
  • Reply within 48 hours, by phone, by email, or via the form.
  • Diagnosis with you (tests, logs, remote handling if possible), then repair or replacement.

Why we don’t deliver in 24 hours

You should allow 5 to 7 working days with us, and we fully stand by that. That time includes assembly, stress testing under load, and careful packaging:

  • an air cushion in the case;
  • a second reinforced cardboard box on top of that;
  • UPS to France, Belgium or Switzerland, and an express delivery in 24 hours when production keeps up.

And it can be faster sometimes. Stinfo, on Trustpilot, 1 July 2026: “PC ordered on Monday, delivered on Friday of the same week. Arrived very well packaged.” For paying in instalments, Alma offers up to 12 monthly payments depending on the country (2 or 3 in Belgium).

Two FlowUP configurations to get an idea

Ryzen 7 5700X, 16 GB DDR4, 1 TB SSD, Cougar 650 W Bronze power supply. Our sensible 1080p and 1440p setup: more than enough to play today’s big titles on high settings; one customer describes it in September 2026 on Trustpilot as “more than enough” for GTA V RP, World of Warcraft and Hogwarts Legacy.

Our workshop verdict, no beating around the bush:

  • Under €1,300, get an RTX 5060 Ti with a Ryzen 7, not a big GPU bottlenecked by an entry-level processor.
  • Once you’re past €2,000, the RTX 5070 Ti with 32 GB of DDR5, that’s the step you won’t regret.

The rest of the range is on the built gaming PCs page. Gaming PCs on promotion drop as low as €200 off this month, and if nothing suits you, the custom gaming PC configurator is there for that.

What our customers say

We’d rather have them do the talking. More than 1,350 customers give us 5 stars on Trustpilot. Here are two (spelling corrected by us).

“PC received in 4 days (perfect delivery and packaging) and ultra-professional after-sales service.”

Okarista_ Crp, Trustpilot, 30 September 2026

“5 months after I bought my PC, their team called me to follow up on my experience.”

Louis Mazin, Trustpilot, 27 September 2026

Frequently asked questions before buying a gaming PC

What budget for a pre-built gaming PC that lasts for a few years?

  • 1,000 € to 1,300 € to play comfortably in 1080p and 1440p with an RTX 5060 Ti.
  • 2,000 € to 2,600 € for 1440p ultra or 4K with an RTX 5070 Ti.
  • Above that, it’s RTX 5080 and 4K without compromise.

The right budget is the one that balances the graphics card, the processor, and memory.

Is a pre-built PC delivered ready to play?

With us, yes. Windows 11 is installed, the drivers are up to date, the BIOS is configured, and the PC has passed its stress test. You plug in your monitor, keyboard and mouse, and start your game. Windows is provided in a trial version with no time limit (an activation key removes the watermark).

What happens if my PC breaks down after six months?

Open a ticket on the support page or call customer service. A technician performs the diagnosis, remotely if possible, and then repairs or replaces the part under the 2-year warranty covering parts and labour. Small tip: keep the boxes, they’re used for the return.
