Who is Cybertek, its Trustpilot rating, and the questions to ask before buying a gaming PC online

In brief

  • Cybertek is the online shop of the Cybertek Group, a Bordeaux-based company founded in 1996.
  • On Trustpilot: 4.5/5 for 8,386 reviews (as of 13 October 2026).
  • Computer hardware, assembled gaming PCs and shops all over France.

Who is Cybertek?

Behind cybertek.fr is the Cybertek Group. Founded in September 1996, it’s one of the few French IT retailers from that era that is still going strong.

  • Company: SAS with share capital of €4,471,800, registered in Bordeaux, head office at 130 rue Achard.
  • Size: between 200 and 249 employees, according to Pappers.
  • Positioning: the online sales website of the Cybertech Computer Group, which claims "more than 25 years of expertise".

The catalogue ranges from components to laptops, including printers, smartphones and refurbished products. For gamers, the retailer highlights:

  • assembled Cybertek PCs and a tailor-made assembly service;
  • 17 stores in France (in its presentation text it mentions around twenty), with free collection;
  • delivery announced in 24 or 48 hours and payment in 3 to 36 monthly instalments.

Information taken from their website and from Pappers. FlowUP has no commercial link with Cybertek. Cybertek is a registered trademark of its owner.

Cybertek reviews: what you’ll find online

Search for "Cybertek reviews" and you’ll mainly find Trustpilot, the Google listings for the stores (Portet, Toulouse-Nord, Brest, Pau...) and a few Reddit threads or forums.

  • Trustpilot: 4.5 out of 5 for 8,386 reviews, including 2,206 in the last twelve months (13 October 2026).
  • Profile: claimed by the company since August 2020.

A reliable Cybertek review is based on public facts: an established company of decent size, with physical shops and an activity far broader than just gaming PCs. We haven’t tested their machines and their service, so we won’t discuss them.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably torn between a Cybertek gaming PC and something else. And putting more than a thousand euros on a website without seeing the machine is enough to make you think. That’s normal.

Buying a gaming PC online: three questions before you pay

  • Who assembled it, and did they test it? A gaming PC assembled on a production line and shipped without testing can arrive with, for example, a RAM stick that isn’t properly clipped in or a graphics card power cable only half inserted. It boots, then crashes at the first somewhat demanding game.
  • How does it travel? A gaming PC is heavy, and its graphics card acts like a lever on the PCIe port with every impact. Without padding inside the case or extra protective packaging, transport damages things you can’t see when you open it.
  • Who takes care of it if something goes wrong? How long does it take to reach someone, and who pays? A two-year warranty only matters if someone actually honours it.

At FlowUP, no shop, but a workshop

FlowUP is a Belgian brand based in Genappe, born from the YouTube series FrenchHardware. No shop: everything goes through flowup.shop, so we’ve put our energy where it matters for remote purchases. More than 50,000 PCs have already left the workshop.

The test.

  • Each PC undergoes a full stress test (processor, graphics card, memory, temperatures) before being approved.
  • BIOS configured, Windows 11 and drivers installed.
  • Only recognised brands, never "no name".

The FlowUP after-sales service handles requests within 48 hours, by phone, email or ticket, with remote diagnostics when possible.

Shipping. We take our time, and that’s intentional: a machine that has passed the stress test deserves better than a hastily sealed box.

  • 5 to 7 working days, plus an express service in 24 hours when production keeps up.
  • Double packaging: air cushion in the casing to lock the graphics card in place, plus a second reinforced cardboard box around it.
  • UPS in France, Belgium and Switzerland: tracking link by email, with possible redirection to a pickup point.
  • Damaged parcel? Refuse it and send us photos within 5 days, we’ll take care of it.

The service.

  • 2-year warranty, parts and labour, on all our PCs.
  • Reply within 48 hours (phone, email or ticket) and remote diagnostics before any return.
  • Payment by card, Bancontact, or Alma up to 12 monthly instalments, depending on the country (2 or 3 in Belgium).

What we’d tell you on the phone:

  • 1080p screen and competitive games? The Corvus is enough, and the money you save will go towards a great 144 Hz screen.
  • Are you aiming for 1440p or big single-player games? Go straight for the Swift and its 16 GB RTX 5060 Ti: with this extra video memory, you won’t have to lower textures in two years.

All our machines are on the pre-built PC gamer page, and the PC gamer deals are definitely worth a look this month.

Frequently asked questions before buying a gaming PC online

How can you tell if a gaming PC sold online was truly tested?

Look for a clear mention of a stress test before shipping, with the details of what is tested. At FlowUP, each machine goes through a full stress test (CPU, GPU, RAM, temperatures) and is only approved afterwards. If the seller says nothing, ask them by email before ordering.

What should you do if the PC arrives damaged?

  • Box visibly damaged: refuse delivery and report it to the carrier.
  • Damage discovered on opening: contact the seller quickly with photos of the parcel and the machine.

At FlowUP, you have 5 working days, and the double packaging is there to prevent this from happening.

Can you pay for a gaming PC in instalments without hidden fees?

With Alma, the due dates and the payment schedule are shown before you confirm the order. At FlowUP, payment in 2, 3, 4, 10 or 12 instalments depends on the legislation in your country; in Belgium it’s maximum 2 or 3 monthly instalments.
