With 6 cores and 12 threads, it delivers solid performance and sits just below the Ryzen 5 5600X in terms of price. The Ryzen 5600 uses a chiplet design with 32 MB of L3 cache, which brings it closer to the 5600X, while the 5500 model, based on the 5600G, disables the integrated GPU, reducing the L3 cache to 16 MB and supporting PCIe 3.0 instead of 4.0.
