Sunfire, an Intel and RTX 5080 gaming streaming PC: the component breakdown
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB
The RTX 5080 16 GB handles both high-resolution gaming and stream encoding.
When you play and stream at the same time, the graphics card calculates the game images and can also encode the video you send online.
Its hardware encoder NVENC supports AV1, enabling streaming in good quality without loading the processor. With 16 GB of GDDR7 and DLSS 4, this RTX 5080 gaming PC handles 4K and 1440p at high settings.
For whom: players who stream on Twitch or YouTube without wanting to sacrifice in-game quality.
Processor: Intel Core i7-14700KF
The Core i7-14700KF and its 20 cores, to game, stream and create in parallel.
The processor coordinates the game, but also everything around it: streaming software, chat, browser and music.
Its 8 performance cores handle the game while the 12 efficient cores take care of background tasks. That’s what makes this Intel gaming PC a solid foundation for streaming and editing.
Memory: 32 GB DDR5
32 GB of DDR5, a comfortable amount for gaming and streaming.
Game, OBS, browser and Discord share the RAM: the more generous it is, the less the system slows down.
With 32 GB of DDR5, Sunfire has plenty of headroom even with multiple OBS scenes and a demanding game. The Z790 motherboard can go even further if you get into 4K editing.
Storage: 1 TB M.2 SSD
A 1 TB M.2 SSD for the system, your games and your recordings.
The SSD speeds up everything that loads: Windows, the games, and also the video files you record.
1 TB supports several big games and recorded sessions. The remaining M.2 slots on the motherboard allow you to add a second SSD dedicated to videos.
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi
ASUS’s TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi connects all the Sunfire’s components.
The motherboard distributes power to the processor and moves data between all components.
The Z790 chipset supports the Core i7-14700KF and DDR5. Built-in Wi‑Fi, plenty of USB ports and several M.2 slots: mic, camera and storage connect without an adapter.
Cooling: Corsair Nautilus 360 RS ARGB with LCD module
A 360 mm Corsair water cooler with an LCD screen on the pump.
During a long gaming and streaming session, the processor runs hot continuously: the cooling has to last.
The 360 mm radiator provides a large heat-exchange surface for the 14700KF, and the LCD module displays temperatures or custom visuals. Three Corsair RS120 ARGB fans round out the case cooling.
Power supply: MSI MPG A1000GS 80+ Gold 1000 W
A 1000 W MSI MPG A1000GS, certified 80+ Gold.
An oversized power supply works without strain, keeping it cooler and quieter.
1000 W easily covers the RTX 5080 and the Core i7-14700KF, even during spikes, and the 80+ Gold label ensures high efficiency day to day.
Case: HYTE Y60 black
The black HYTE Y60 and its panoramic glass panels are the Sunfire’s showcase.
The case makes the first impression—on your desk as well as on-screen when your camera films it during your stream.
With its panoramic corner glass, the Y60 shows off the graphics card and water cooling at their best—an actual plus for a streamer setup. Its interior space easily accommodates the 360 mm radiator.
